    Book details

The uplifting message of Reinventing Organizations has resonated with readers all over the world, and they have turned it, one conversation at a time, into a word-of-mouth phenomenon. The book has helped shift the conversation from what’s broken with management today to what’s possible. It is inspiring thousands of organizations—corporations and nonprofits, schools and hospitals—to adopt radically more powerful, soulful, and purposeful practices.

The book resonates widely, but not everyone has time to devote to a dense 360-page management book. This illustrated version conveys the main ideas of the original book and shares many of its real-life stories in a lively, engaging way. Don’t be surprised if you find it hard to put down and end up reading it almost in one sitting. Welcome to the conversation on next-stage organizations!

There are are books that you read without stopping from beginning to end and this is one of these. I don't know the author but he expresses so much positivity that I am sure he is not just a brilliant writer but a good man too. After buying the kindle version I also bought the audio version of the original book which is older but much detailed and great too. I cannot put 6 stars then I put only 5 !

    Some thought provoking ideas.

The original Reinventing Organisations 2014 edition is a brilliant piece of work. Described by Jenny Wade as a 'World Changer', it surely has that potential. Its difficulty is that it runs to almost 350 pages and in my experience not many people in organisations today are reading 350 page books on organisational change...at least the ones who need to read them aren't!! Seeing this issue as a potential block to the audience in most need of the material, Laloux creatively seeks to circumvent the issue by teaming up with artist Etienne Appert to create this wonderful hybrid of text, magical graphics and cartoons which bring the story of Reinventing Organisations to life in a wonderful way making it accessible to the widest possible audience. Perhaps the next step is to get Disney Pixar to make 'Reinventing Organisations' the movie!!Whether you are a Coach, Consultant, Organisational Development Specialist, CEO, SME Owner, or frontline worker with a desire to understand and change the culture you work in then this book is a must. Thoroughly enlightening!

i was really surprised to find such a book. His philosophy is well researched and well argued. I found the case studies of Teal organisations inspirational.

Laloux introduces some interesting concepts, not all are practical in my field of work, but certainly offers food for thought

  • By N. J. Parker on 29 December 2016

Very readable and the illustrations help with a succinct summary of the concepts and their evidential backing

  • By Mrs A on 8 September 2016
